Ghost Stories anybody?

Coincidence happens all day everyday. Some are more noticeable than others. The fact that this particular one happened around the death of your mother simply made it stand out more. Grief is an extremely powerful emotion, the loss of a loved one can make people believe anything to help relieve it, fully understand and sympathize. But don’t think for one second that I’ll give you a hall pass because of it.

It wasn't "around the death of [my] mother": it happened at the exact time of my mother passing: listened to the song, got the call before the last notes were quite finished. I had already been grieving her being taken away from me for years, a piece at a time; so, her passing was joyous.

When did this thread become about believing in ghosts? You don't have to believe in ghosts to enjoy a clever ghost story. I don't believe in them, but The Haunting of Hill House scared the crap out of me; I love "The Turn of the Screw"; and pleeeeze don't tell me you didn't enjoy "Ghostbusters" because you don't believe in ghosts!

Unfortunately, I don't have one to share, but my lack of belief won't keep me from enjoying if any of you have one to share.

A favorite ghost movie is The Others with Nicole Kidman. Sometimes, ghosts don't know that they are ghosts.

One night at my parents house there parrot woke me up it was going nuts in its cage. As i am walking to the living room and look towards the cage a ball of mist shoots across the cage and into the wall. I still try to debunk what happen but i cant.

Another night power had gone out to the whole block. As my brother and his wife are sitting in living room they both at the same time say did you guys just see that. Apparently same ball of mist shot across the living room.

till this day we cant explain it

I have one, even told someone about it recently. Being a highly rational, science based person for me to have a paranormal experience and openly discuss it I think gives it a bit of credibility. I'll circle back soon to post the details. I even have a photo of the place where it happened (somewhere, need to find it).
