Getting soft.

This line of questioning is getting weird....

I am soft on my car, alright. I even jokingly refer to her as "the second wife" (particularly funny reference for Mormons:P).

no. ban, as in banned , kept out of....not able to post......nuisance on the web....

I might be getting soft too, mainly because when driving over frost heaves I'm thinking "this thing is pretty stiff over the bumps." But others says it's too soft...and I'm typically a sports car guy. What is going on here? I do miss manual trans though.

For the first time in my life, my butt is bonding with the road. I feel this car down through the tires. And of course, that is with all the stability, traction and suspension controls in place. Later, I will delete all of that and just "drive the damn car". But for now, I am enjoying getting a feel for the road with a machine that handles. It's like a different world of driving experience (for the family guy who drove vans for most of his life).

and liked......

talked to a cop last night, I told 'em the car should of came with a'' get out of jail free '' card....I'll see him again .....might get a pic of him standing next to the car giving a fake ticket.......naw I ain't getting soft, lol

My post was slightly in jest. The truth of the matter is I'm surprised how stiff or "lively" the suspension is compared to my '15 Mustang GT. Somehow I thought the Stinger would be softer? It's about the same, but not truly "stiff." It's just firm.

I would attribute this to two factors beyond the car:

1. Our roads aren't really that great. The frost heaves are visibly raised, like little speed bumps going down the road at 45mph lol.

2. The recommended tire pressure is rather high, I think this attributes to stiffer feeling ride over bumps. I'm used to 32-33psi normally. I'm running the winters at 37psi average.

yes that is high.....I'm right at 35...but the 2.0 tires...offer a tad bit more sidewall

Because our roads are much rougher something akin to goat tracks ( don't get me started on where our tax dollars are not going) the car has been tuned i assume differently to yours. I feel the ride is very soft .
