Genesis has hired Lamborghini's former designer

Filippo Perini to head-up the Hyundai European ‘Advanced Design Studio’

His former work includes the Alfa 129 & 8C, work at Audi, head of design at Lamborghini (Aventador, Huracan, Reventon), and head of design at Italdesign (Nissan GTR-50).

The article supposes that Genesis may be gearing up for a focused run at the European luxury market. I'd be on the lookout for some hot new Hyundai/Kia designs coming in the next 3-5 years.

Forgot Luc Donckerwolke (basically, calling the shots these days) - who seems intent on hiring his former colleagues from the VW Group (SangYup Lee, Sasha Selipinov who has since moved on to Koenigsegg).

The shape of the crest grille on the facelifted G90 is a bit much, but it does give it more of a presence (and makes it seem more like a Rolls/Bentley competitor than an S Class/7 Series competitor).

Can't deny its success, however.

Has been a huge sales success in Korea and last month the refreshed G90 outsold the LS 500 27 to 4 in Canada.

I saw this g70 in person..the mouthbreather grille is a bit much. Lexus is on another level though lol.
