A vexing problem developed over time that the gas nozzle would cut off because of back pressure more and more until it takes about 20 miutes to dribble in a full tank of gas. Taking it to dealer but did anyone else have the same problem and what was solution.

Solution. Need a new gas station. Some pumps do this to me but not nearly a high percentage

I've had this happen randomly; and when it does I pull the schnozzle out and reposition it not quite rammed all the way in; sometimes I've had to hold it at an angle instead of letting it hang there. And once or twice, I was at a pump that simply would not cooperate and kept shutting itself off: I moved to another pump and that solved it. That old '94 Voyager even did this once in a while. It's the pump.

Check other gas stations.

Replacing “pump” with female anatomy changes this paragraph dramatically.

I read it that way as I was composing it. Hah. :D (the work of a repentant mind)

Thought about that but tried many, many gas stations and some a little better but not much. Getting worse over time so not gas pumps. Hopefully yours will not worsen over time.

Yepper, tried positioning my "schnozzle" in many ways, worked a little, a few times, so thought "This is it" but sadly, continued to worsen over time. Maybe I need to take the car to my urologist :)

My low cars always had this issue in the past

Almost 53k miles and never happens. Only costco would do it to my car but they gave me fuel that caused misfire so i only go shell or chevron now

I like WaWa's ethanol free, I can actually tell the difference in Shell 93 octane and WaWa 90 octane. Make sense if you think about it, octane has to do with anti-knock properties, not energy, since ethanol has less energy per unit than gasoline, the ethanol free has more energy per unit

TBH, I don't think the dealer will have a solution for this. It's like others have said, try another gas station. I think it would be a wasted trip with no solution.

Well you don't have Sherry the service writer at Crown Kia here in St Pete. She is great. Turns out they contacted KIA and KIA said the problem was integral and to replace the whole gas tank and vent hoses. Had some paint crazing on the plastic strips in the roof and they are replacing them (with black ) while it waits for the gas tank and doing the recall fix and adjusting the fuel fill door so will be a few more days. Can't say enough good things about Crown Kia service dept.

Wow crazy you are having the same issue I am. I live in St Pete too, taking it to Lokey though since Crown has a month backup. I will let them know about your issue. Just annoying since I just got the car May 1st.
2018 GT2 AWD as well.

Okay so I decided to take it to Crown. Sherry is going to get it in tomorrow or Monday. I have a code on mine that she said you didn’t have so maybe I have a different issue?

Thank you for posting about your problem on here. Hopefully we both get our issues fixed…I have a 2018 red GT2.

You should ask "Sherry" for the bulletin ID and post it here for those who do/will have this problem so they can resolve it quickly with a not-so-compliant stealership.

Don't think there is a bulletin but will ask :)

So this is what they said about mine.
