Hello everyone.
I'm currently driving a Kia Optima SX from 2012 and I've saved up to buy the Stinger GT2, my final choice for a sporty sedan. Due to that, I am totally new to the world of modding, so please excuse me.
I currently did not order the car or anything, I'm an enthusiast that will buy the car when everything is confirmed. I wanted to ask about custom Stinger wheels.
Yeah, the stock ones look nice and go well with the car but I want something more sporty and cooler looking.
I browsed online to find these Niche branded wheels. They look very cool and imho go well with the whole aspect of the car. They are also black and 19". I have only 2 questions.
According to the website, the wheels are 19x8.5 and have a 35mm offset. However, when checking the stock rim dimensions it seems like the rear only is 19x8.5 and the front is 19x8. Is it okay if I install the same rim on all 4 considering that its 19x8.5? I'm confused only for this fact.
Also despite the fact that the offset is 40mm the dimension site mentions that it's absolutely fine to put 34-42mm. Is this true?
Thank you!

Also yes I know that I didnt even buy the car yet but I'm making sure because I've got a list of modifications to do:
- ARK Legato Carbon Fiber Hood
- StingerHaus performance front spoiler and winglet kit
- StingerHaus Rear Spoiler
- StingerHaus sport diffuser
- Devil's Claw front vent canards
- Custom rims, preferably the Niches, unspecified currently
- Emblems from this site

Welcome to the Forum

First of all I know there is atleast 1 member here with exactly those wheels. (but I can't remember who it is)
8.5 with 35mm should be no problem
If you want to look further I've created a threat for aftermarket wheels -> Aftermarket Wheels

your mod list is looking good. have you decidet on the color yet?

Hello Schpok, thanks for replying!
Glad to know that these wheels will be no issue. I loved the design and it was so perfect. The fact that it's 19 inches along with the spoke design and black color just make it perfect with the whole aspect of the car.
Secondly, no I haven't decided the color yet. Lol.
I've been really confused between two: Hi Chroma Red and Sunshine Yellow. I considered white and black before for a moment but then said no due to some reasons. The black would look sick but is a mainstream color and in a hot country like this wouldn't do the AC a favor. White seemed cool because all colors and mods would look good and contrasting but my current Optima is white and I wanted to change that.
Sunshine yellow seems really cool and is very attractive, sort of the "Corvetto Yellow" Chevy puts on their cars. I'm mostly going for the red though. It will look pretty sick with all these mods and would make a nice contrast with the black wheels that house those lovely red Brembos.
I also would want the interior to match. Here, regionally, red interior is applicable with any color of the car which is sick. There is also the choice for carbon fiber trim, replacing the brushed aluminum which is sick. I would definitely choose the red interior w/ carbon fiber. It would literally portray the outer look of my car with the red car and carbon fiber hood, which would look sick.
I've also wanted to put more mods on the car which are the following, however...:
- A catback exhaust system. Currently unspecified. Most probably Borla or Magnaflow (would help if someone suggested lol)
- 3M Tinting
- Paint Protection
However the mods mentioned here will be done later.
I'd get the car in exactly 3 months. I do almost have the money, but I wanted to work more with overtime and whatnot to achieve more money so that when buying daily needs, I don't feel short of money because I bought my Stinger lol.
I've saved up for the mods I mentioned previously. As soon as I save up again, I'd discuss the catback exhaust thing soon.
Thanks for having me here all. It would be a giant leap forward to have my first new car rather than my used (but good condition) Optima. And it'd be my first Sports sedan. I'm so excited to be thrilled everyday by such a comfy yet fast ride.

There’s a spreadsheet in this thread which has a lot of different options and a lot of useful info there for you

I have the Niche M182 Staccato.
Thank you so much Tobster for that help. I appreciate that.
I'm actually attracted to the Staccatos. Couple thoughts:
1. What's the size? Are they 19" or 20"?
2. Is there a black version (preferably jet black) of the same wheel?
Thanks
