• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Are we suppose to have forward parking sensors in the limited? Or does the 360 camera delet this feature? My Canadian spec limited doesn’t have them , yet the owners manual says they should be there ..?..

I believe with the 360 camera you lose the front parking sensors. This isn't an authoritative answer though...

In the US the front and rear parking sensors are part of the standard kit. On the top level car the around view camera is extra option that is added on top of that. You might have got a car built for another region or an early 2019 where they are decontenting the car. :)

Nope, I have the top U.S. trim, GT2, and there was absolutely no option to have the 360º cam. (See my frequent rants elsewhere on the forum.) We won't have it in the U.S. until the Atlantica comes out this summer, and even then, what, only 500 will be built?

I don't need the 360° camera. With the backup camera, parking assist sensors and the tilt-down mirrors in reverse, I can see all I need to keep from getting wheel rash on curbs.

No forward parking sensors for Canadian Stingers (check the specs on the KIA Canada website). Only rear parking sensors. However, with the 360 degree camera, not certain you need the front sensors

I have full 360 camera for parking sensors, and can manipulate between front, and back, and be able to look down to see how am parked....quite interesting actually. New toys gotta love'em

We didn't get that in the US and I think it was a terrible idea to delete them for this market, especially in older cities like Boston where you have to part in extremely tight spaces makes the Stinger a no-go for some.

My previous bmw would auto turn on front camera when it sensed an object .. with my stinger you have to manually turn on the camera(button) which kinda sucks.. I know we have the 360 camera and I guess Kia saved money and deleted the sensors thinking the camera is enough..which is.. just disappointing.. if I had a choice I would definitely take the 360camera.

Yes I have a 2012 BMW X5 and it has both although the camera is a bit old it still works well and is excellent for parking in Boston where parking spots are extremely tight. I will have to get used to it I am also looking for an aftermarket solution.

Just going to jump in this thread. I am curious as I just picked up my GT Limited a few days ago so I am just testing it out. It would be nice if the Canadian version does have front sensors on top of the 360 camera just like the new Toyota Camrys cause it honestly has saved me from hitting cars in the front when the camera is dirty and you can't see it. I will have to test it out in the morning however.

Yes just played around further. 360 cam does not have front sensors. It kind of really is a bummer as if I ever got too close to a wall while squeezing in my camry would stop for me. This one is if I can't see it, I may scratch. A bit of a let down but something that can hopefully be worked on in the future builds.

270 deg camera then?
