Hello! proud owner of a new 2019 ceramic silver GT2 with red interior! Previously owned an optima SXL for 7 years and thoroughly enjoyed that car as it was fun and reliable. Can’t wait for what’s in store with my stinger.
I have already rebadged with the Korean “E” including the wheel caps and went with Stinger as the only emblem on the rear. Next up is ceramic window tint including windshield.

Thanks! Forgot that important detail, rear wheel drive! Had to wait 5 weeks for this color combo and rear wheel drive not to mention drive two hours to pick it up.

Yea I actually ordered them weeks before the car came in so I was anxious and had a body shop replace them the next morning after picking the car up. It was difficult and took 3 people 20 minutes to carefully remove the old badges and install two new ones. I need to add some photos, and thank you btw.

Tinting the windshield is illegal where I live. Is it different where you live?

I believe so but have seen many cars with it done and my previous car was pretty dark. I will keep it minimal like 70 percent this time.

Thanks! I remember you as well! It took me a little while to make the switch as I loved and will miss my optima but I know I’m lovin the optimas daddy. Good to see a familiar member on here. I’m sure David from k5 optima store is on as well.

Wayne, you and I may have talked about this before, but seeing their next-gen SX have power that sits between the current Base/Premium and GT Stinger trims, have an AWD option, and still be feature-laden across all trims. An even better hybrid variant will be nice, and would love them to import their wagon variant to the North American market.
