First start display screen saver?

I just bought a 23 GT line Stinger. It's soooo different than my 19 GT2. When I first start the car, I get a blank screen with a saver type graphic. I can't find anywhere where I can set the radio to show up on first start, or anything in that matter. Are we stuck looking at wavy swirls every time and have to actually hit a button just to see what channel we are on? I can't even have the map show up on start up which you would think would be a standard option. Am I missing something?

What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

If you follow that thread, that's the startup screen I have in my 2022. Is that not what you have for the startup screen?

That's the start up screen yes. I just can't believe we're stuck with that. It sounds lazy but damn, I want the radio up on the screen when I start the car just like I left it when I parked it. Oh well

I did a deep web search and I don't think it's possible to start on anything but the welcome screen, but on the right is the gps map, the left? Touch the song title and it should go to the last media played (like Bluetooth).

Hi folks, I got a new to me 2021 Stinger GT (UK) a couple of weeks ago, and had the same problem.
I've obviously been playing with the infotainment centre and Kia connect app, but like you, I couldn't find any settings.
However, unless there has been an update, I've done something, and the screen now starts up on the screen it was on when I switched off, like media or radio !!!
I've absolutely no idea what I've done, but it's obviously possible !!!

It happened this morning. I'd been playing with my Kia connect app in the house last night, and noticed it when I started up this morning. I've since gone through all the settings in the app, and can't see anything to do with it.
The only other thing I've done different to normal, was yesterday, when I switched off my car, the map was on full display ( I normally leave it on radio) Then this morning, after the 'confirm' disappeared, the full map came on !! So, I switched to radio, drove to the shop, and switched off. Switching back on, lo and behold, there was the radio !!
It sounds stupid I know, but I'm not complaining anymore !!

Well another update . Started the car this morning, and the screen is back to the 'normal' startup. Oh well, it was nice while it lasted :-(

I went thur all the displays last night and didn't find any way to turn it off only the welcome sound
