First ride in a Tesla..my 2 cents

How was the handling and steering wheel feel compared to stinger?

I didn't really get to push the model 3. But it's steering weight is about the same as comfort in our cars. Maybe slightly heavier but not more than when our car is in sport mode.

I would say it's feedback is really poor. Meant to be comfortable and pretty dead easy to drive. Pretty neutral steering and the low CG means it stays pretty flat and stabile. Again didn't get to push it much though.

...The car gets HOT...Charging times...software bugs.

...but TWICE when my roommate was driving and the car would just reboot its infotainment or black screen on him and HE SHRUGGED IT OFF. "Oh, that happens." THE F**K YOU MEAN THAT HAPPENS?! YOU PAID 55K FOR THIS CAR AND IT JUST "STOPS WORKING" SOMETIMES? Granted since he now has/owns the car I guess he has no option but to put up with it and keep making payments... I wouldn't want to be locked into a car that just "Sometimes works" though...

Sounds like iPhone cultism. "Well yeah, that (insert huge f$%^up) happened....but...but....it's an iPhone!"

Neat. Next.

He's a pretty logical friend/roommate of mine. Sometimes I think I hear the regret in the sound of his voice. But he's still pretty excited he's supporting the future. Certainly not as bad as some tesla owners/Apple fans. He just likes premium and bougie things.

Model 3 is made in a tent, has a giant iPad for an interface, is as featureless as a bar of soap inside and out, and the build quality is not consistent.

However, its worst trait by far is that it can be updated overnight via OTA update. The software is written startup style - move fast and break things. This is not what you want in a multi-ton vehicle.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Continuing off topic, I know, but...

I ran a USB cable into the center console storage (like shown in the video below @ ~16:26) and drop the phone in there out of site No need to see it with Android Auto.

The Tesla model X and 3 are very plain looking vehicles IMO. The interiors remind me of houses furnished exclusively with Ikea products. Not much personality. I do like the large screen though but I don't think I would want to have everything operated through it. I like buttons for my A/C, stereo, cruise control and the like. The Porsche Taycan is what an electric car should look like.

Electrics all feel crazy off the line. That instant torque is a new feel.

My brother in-law has the Model S performance and in ludicrous+ mode it will eat pretty much anything street legal.

That said I’ll take my Stinger and dry my tears from losing a drag race with the $65,000 I saved.
