3.3TT FIRST OIL CHANGE

I got about 323 miles on the GT1 . It was delivered Thursday night. I was gonna let the dealer do the first COUPLE oil changes to establish maintenance. I don't know what oil comes in on a new car?? Could it be brake in oil?? I believe the dealer will put in conventional oil. At what mileage would you bring in the car....

I'm following the owners manual.

Check your owner's manual. I believe first oil change is recommended at 6,000 miles. And no, it does not have break-in oil. Personally, I took mine in at just over 2,000 miles because I was taking it for a 2,500 mile road trip.

Some dealers n my area use Total and others use Mobil1...

Go figure. Total is recommended by the manual. I've been running M1 for a decade in my M3 so I'm good with it. I plan on doing oil analysis with blackstone each change also.

Would anybody be able to confirm the drain plug size for me? Is it M14X1.5X16?

Going to order a dimple plug if i can find the right size.

Don't forget the oil life ( according to the manual) is cut in half for any of the following conditions.
