I’ve finally installed my jb4 and denso plugs today and ran a few logs with maps 1-3 on 93 octane. I’d like yalls feed back and opinions on if every thing looks good or if anything looks wrong.IMG_2417.webp

In the log you attatched, you are pulling timing in all cylinders pretty much. It starts with some 0.8s which isnt a big deal but then you are seeing 3.8s and above. I've been in this position before and I would suggest trying a different gas station or getting 93 from somewhere else.

Did you gap the plugs before you installed them?

Also, good reputable gas stations are prone to bad fuel. I have had bad logs on shell 93 before as well, so dont think it can't be gas because you're going to shell, bp, etc.

Yes I gapped the plugs down to .022. It was my first time doing something like this so I took my time and made sure it was all correct. My 93 is from Walmart and I’m not to sure how good their gas is. What are some stations you recommend?

That could be why. Like I said, some stations that are "good" can still have bad gas, but places like Shell, BP, etc, are known to have better gas in general and many get from them. I currently get my gas from Exxon because they have E85 near me and I have no issues. I'd just say to look for somewhere that is well known and not just the cheapest random option.

Very random as well but some have had their issues fixed by updating their jb4 firmware if you haven't done that. Might not do anything but doesn't hurt to throw it out there

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

Alright, I live in a smaller town so we have a few decent options like Valero, raceway, ingles, etc. I’ll have to try around to see if that helps any. Do you think it could be a spark plug issue though?

Also do you think it would be safe to ride around on map 2 with it pulling that much timing or should I leave it on map 0 until I get the timing down

Just to be safe I wouldn't. I mean nothing would happen instantly but I wouldn't want that occuring consistently. Ideally you want everything to be below 3 under wide open throttle. Also I live in NYC so my situation is quite different, I'd try those stations and see the results you get
