First Kia

I've owned Camaros and mustangs and was dismissive of Kia....until I met my 2022 GT1 awd. I have never lived a car like this. Having fun with my mods and hope to learn from this forum
Welcome to the forum, there's a lot of knowledge here regarding almost everything.

Enjoy the car!

2019 Mustang gt 6 speed manual. Im a travel RN and needed something awd and of course fast and sexy
Miss anything about the Mustang GT? What do you prefer about each car? I'm guessing the creature comforts of the Stinger are something you're really appreciating...

I miss the throaty roar of 460 hp v8! However I love the sound of sucking air and blow off. The comfort, style and every thing Kia offered for safety and driving ease more than makes up for anything I miss. Plus I'm convinced my stinger is quicker off the line.

did you really mean that or was that supposed to be loved or liked? any of them work for me.
Work fatigue equals lived vs Loved. I love Her!

Some describe the Stinger as a Korean style muscle car, so it's a natural evolution. Mustangs and Camaros (and chargers/challengers) are mostly overpriced IMO, especially now. But so is the Stinger. Hopefully you got a better deal than most in early/mid 2022.

Congrats and welcome..
Im a travel OT and had the same mindset 2 years ago. You’ll appreciate the sway bars and intakes immensely no cap!!

I put K&N intakes on and got bashed because of its not a cold air intake. I went with that for price point and it protects my turbos from moisture. The sound and performance was noticeably increased. Im looking to get an exhaust next. I'm leaning towards Borla but I'm open to suggestions and also is the JB4 tune the one to go with?

I just saw a JunBl exhaust that was expensive but dam it sounded great. What's your experience with the exhaust you have?

I think my Jun.BL racing catback sounds awesome, sounds even better once I got the secondary downpipes. Videos doesn't do it justice because mics don't pick up lower frequencies well (not V8 low but a nice tone). Catbacks and secondary downpipes will sound raspy at first but the tone will mature after a good bit of miles. It's definitely on the higher end cost wise. I got it because I heard the Borla had fitment issues on the 2022 and 2023 model years.

Here's a Dyno video I have.

Honestly, I love the MBRP and Jun BL midpipe combo. It’s expensive but worth it to me. It has this deep growling sound as opposed to a rasp. Sounds exotic and makes the car sound more expensive than it is. The reactions I get on a daily from my patients when pulling into their driveway never gets old ;)

What are the benefits of front/rear swsy bars. I couldn't be happier with the handling as it is. Does it make that big of an impact

Big improvement, turns in tighter, and thr back end is more stable and no mid corner hop

The upgraded sway bars help tighten up the suspension, improve handling /cornering and allow you to go faster through the turns on twisty roads/tracks. Personally, I find that I brake less and can swing tight around corners than when I was stock.
