The funny thing is that I did park away from everyone! Trying to go through insurance so we’ll see. The body shop’s quote was ridiculous because they’re worried about matching the paint color.

Just make sure you reach out to several businesses around the parking lot. A lot of times, there are cameras over looking pieces of other businesses. You can also look for cars that came out of the business or on that street during that time frame that have damage.

Sorry to see the damage, the paint held on well though! I’m always parking away from others and walk but murphies law always works and when i come back someone is always parkied next to me, go figure.

Absolutely! Having this car has turned me into a parking freak. I look for the most empty spots at the end of a row, so only parking on one side, even if somebody did park as far out there as I do. That's my MO for the last four months and going forward.

Feeling your pain & sorry you got damaged, especially a hit & run, as stated above check around the stores, someone may have CCTV.
Doesn’t matter how far you park away from everyone some dip$hit will always park right on top of you, must be a worldwide phenomenon.
