FINALLY FIXED PHONE MOUNT!!

Okay so I have a 2020 Kia Stinger GT2 AWD (get @ me from a dig ) and clearly a JB4 Bluetooth connection and needed to have a mount that provided visibility and security. After about 5 mounts I found one that fits circular vents, is stable and adjustable. This is the ONLY one I’ve found that you can install in the middle vent to monitor engine readings and also drive safely. I’ll post the link from Amazon for the vent clip and you have a variety of adjustable magnets you can install… additionally I hated putting a magnet on the outside of my phone that looked obnoxious so I found gold color matching magnets for inside the case. Smooth installation and great stability(doesn’t flinch taking corners) the mounting package excludes the magnet so you have your choice of ball in socket magnetic clips you can order separately. Next come wireless CarPlay … enjoy ladies and gentlemen

You can open and close the vents as easily as before and your phone charges even quicker from being cold… google it

I went with this one - it's great. There is also a review on youtube. I just close my middle vent which then re-distributes the air.

Hey - do you have a link to the ball magnet for this? I'm struggling to find one that would be compatible.

You can block your vents a lot less with this little magnetic mount. it swivels and rotates in all directions.

Yes, 3M double sided tape and you can find it on AliExpress.

yikes, wouldn't feel comfortable putting tape on the dash. I use a quadlock windshield mount. That thing is pretty sturdy. Basically a suction cup with adhesive, but it's going on the glass.

Would be great to have a phone mount so its possible to film forward when driving, any ideas?

I use a quad lock windshield mount, mounted at a slight angle, then mount the phone landscape, and it works very well. You can just see a tiny piece of the mount arm in the upper right corner of the video, but otherwise good.
