No, these would have been either painted or powder coated by the Dealer.

Well guys, the deal is done!
Put down a deposit today for a MY20 Neon Orange GT.
It is a demo, but only just. Registered about 3 weeks ago, and has got ~650Km on it. Floor mats and tint already there.
Had to option up the Bi Modal though.
Pretty happy with the price - $61K all up inc the exhaust. Yes, I stood firm, and the impossible figure I first threw down, I got pretty close to in the end.
Dealer has been really good and a pleasure to deal with. They really wanted to sell the car, and I made it clear I wanted to buy it, at the right price.
Just finished signing the paperwork now and e-mailing back to the dealer to get the ball rolling.
All going to plan, should be good for delivery late next week.

Had a few things in my favour. I first saw the car on the showroom floor back in August. Have been keeping an eye on it since then. Noticed it went to "Demo Status" so jumped on it. Also, the end of year is here soon, and every car on the lot instantly becomes a year old. Do your research, see who has what in stock and play the game!

No it was never mentioned to me. I did think about it but what am I going to do with it. No one will buy the original system.

No, it was already fitted. But I did keep the OEM sways when the Eibachs were installed.

Well, this is it! 1 sleep to go!!
After the last 10 years of SUV practical family transport, its time for a new dawn.
(Mind you, I could have done worse than the turbo Foresters!)
Tomorrow I take delivery of the new "family" runabout!
In 24 hours there will be a MY20 Neon Orange GT parked in the garage. Complete with tinted windows, floor and boot mats and the all important Bi Modal exhaust system.
Exciting times ahead!

Check the paint work meticulously.

Check they've set tyre pressures to the proper amount. If left at the boat ride settings you could have 50 psi around. You're looking for around 36 fronts, 38 backs.

Check the hood where the wipers meet it. Sometimes they chip the hood.

Check around the head lights for paint flaking. Rare but no unheard of on the Stinger.

Make sure they've given you a full tank of fuel.

Check the delivery kilometres are below 50 , preferably under 10.

Thanks for the hints. It will fail the Km test, as its a demo. I was the last to drive it and it was around the 680Km mark, so will make sure its not to far off the mark.
