Factory Badges

Hi there @Yellow Stinger , personally i like the Kia badges as they are, i think the Kia badge on the rear suits the rear end perfectly, sort of completes it, anyway we all have personal preferences, i want other drivers to know straight up it's a Kia, and the other brands do not intimidate me at all, i feel so proud of my Kia Stinger even when any Merc, BMW, Audi is nearby, think about it, we have a Kia that gives most cars a run for their money, and those that are faster, are also much more expensive and more powerful, so there is no comparison. Anyway, my two cents..haha:)
By the way, nice looking Sunset Yellow.

I think is about personalizing the car for what makes you happy, it’s nice to have something that’s a bit different and stands out from the pack. If you like it the way it is, that’s cool too. Now that yellow, stands out on its own.

IMO, removing the KIA name from the exterior invites people to question what it is. So, if you don't like to interact with strangers, keep the KIA. If you like talking about your car to strangers, re-badge.

. I agree. I bought a Kia and I want people to see what it is. Kia is going places and we are on the ground floor going up. Look out world.

Or do it half-way. I have "E" hubs and the nice big Korean "Stinger" on the center of my deck lid. KIA on both the steering wheel and the hood. Works both ways.

You think. . You can see the car from the international space station.

Kia logo on the front, great...but that big "Stinger" font on the back looks WAAAAY better than a Kia logo.

I still have people not believing that it's a Kia. I have no problems telling everyone that I love my Kia, I just think the E badges look better.

So jealous of the Sunset Yellow color each time I look at it. I am consider taking mine and have it wrap in yellow.

Personally I think the car would look excellent without ANY badging/names. I may price that out to see filling the holes and painting over them

I have nothing against Kia, I'd do the same if was an audi, etc. - I just like the way the car looks and feel that any badging takes away from the car itself. My WRX, for example has just the subaru seven sisters stars in the grill (nothing on the hood) and I removed everything from the trunk lid except "WRX". I'm up in the air whether to keep "Stinger" in the same manner

Would like to hear from anyone if they filled the holes & painted for a clean look on the front

I quit caring about what others think a long time ago.

I badged my car like the Korean cars because thats what I wanted.

Your car, your choices...

View attachment 6725 I see a lot of talk about swapping out badges. I don’t really understand that. I’m proud of my Kia and The badges that are on it. I am always proud to show it off. I’m keeping mine 100% factory. I guess to each his own. These cars are amazing.
I feel the same way with my Yellow GT2 Stinger.....the car will be kept as it was purchased....when you start doing thing to it you, in the long run, drop it's worth.....in ten, twenty, thirty years, people will want a mint factory purchased non messed with car....P1060605.webp

These are trivial/superficial changes. What I've seen ppl doing here (changing badges) is not at all permanent. I wouldn't waste time worrying about it. Though for those that do make simple exterior changes, just keep the original parts in case the next buyer wants them - or you can pop them back on proactively. Not a big deal
