Hello all of you,

My Stinger is stored for the winter (I live in the province of Quebec) and I'm still looking for a new cool sound exhaust system that I can buy and install around Montreal

Hi Ronny,

I just removed my Magnaflow cat back I've had on since September. I did a custom variable setup instead. Sounds great with stock car. Lmk if you are interested. I'm in Toronto

If he doesn't want the Magnaflow, I'd be interested in chatting with you about it.

The system won’t let me send PM’s for whatever reason. Maybe because I’m too new?

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I recommend the Borla S-Type exhaust. Check out my review on it in the forums.

Ive been doing a lot of research on an exhaust for the Stinger for over a month. Looking to buy one in the spring. I really dislike the fart can/ricer sound with that hollow raspy ringing that some of these exhausts emit. I want something that sounds somewhat stock until you stand on it. A deep growl and gurgle. Can anyone recommend anything thats somewhat like that.

I cant agree more. From everything i have heard it sounds like Magnaflow is the best.

Get a set of mid pipes some people call them downpipes. Deletes you secondary cats. Sounds a bit deeper and you get some nice sounding pops at low rpm in sport mode slowing down.

Thats decent idea, Ive done that to cars in the past. However I have this thing under warranty for 6 years and really dont want to mess with the cats just yet lol. I was thinking maybe resonator deletes (not muffler) and to change out that crimped part right before the mufflers to a regular pipe. Not sure if that will do anything, but once Im under the car, might as well...

I don’t think they would bother you about secondary cat deletes. It does not cause a check engine light or anything. Could be something you could ask the dealer. It’s a pretty easy swap out if you ever wanted to go back. If your set on a catback
I think the magnaflow would be the first place to start. They sound good with a downpipe too.

I'll make a report once I got a Kunstwerk Race with the optional tips installed :alien:
Which one are you getting? Just looking at them now, Id love to know what they sound like. I dont see any shipping to Canada on their website though, thats kinda odd lol.

The "Race version" which has bimodal muffler system. Website needs to be updated, but I can ask the owner about shipping to a Canadian zip code.

Right on! How does the bimodal system work? Electronically? Their website is in korean and has virtually no information. Id love to know if they would ship to Canada.

You've got my attention. Thank you for looking into the shipping for me. Is there any videos with sound of the exhaust with the valves open/closed?
