Been looking around some, and finding a lot of tips that are reported as 2.5" inlet, fits 1.5-2.0 pipes. And they have 3 screws on the inside to clamp to the pipe.

For example:

Is this the best you can do for tips to fit OEM? Or are the Akrapovic, etc more like 55mm that just slide over the 51mm OEM pipes? Have I been searching all wrong, looking for 2.0" inlet tips?

Id avoid those and go for ones that use a clamp. I feel the screws could loosen up over time or possibly damage the muffler tip if you over tighten.

The stock tips are round on the inside, yes.

We must not be talking about the same thing. I was asking about the stock tips, and I just took a look, and they are the same shape throughout, or at least they appear to be.

How so? I remembered someone mentioned a similar thing, but I couldn't remember who, or which terms to search for. Just discoloration, or actual breakage? I'm mostly looking to reduce interior sound levels. I took a look at the setup today - that's a LOT of gap to fill in with exhaust wrap!

Thanks. I can't find a single thing on aliexpress - any search I do just ends up with "no products found", even just "akrapovic" or "exhaust tip".

Low cost for the tips but what makes up for it from Aliexpress is the shipping, which is pretty high. I also found that shipping was considerably less overall if I ordered them in two separate orders, rather than ordering all 4 at once. They still all came in the same package. Illogical.
Even with shipping, they were still cheaper than anything I could find domestically.

Anyone done a custom logo on aliexpress? Would they even do that for 4 tips?

They are showing heat damage and on one the inner piece is rattling.

I didnt like the stainless steel look so I found a set of Sebring oval tips, black, for my MBRP. Fit like a glove.

How are these holding up? About to order...

Ok, just to update a little. Someone recommended I get 54mm tips instead of 51, since the OEM pipes can be just slightly more than 51mm. So, I got 54s. I ended up having to wrap ~1 loop of exhaust wrap around the OEM pipe, and then it all worked out OK. Will try to get a picture tomorrow.

Car definitely sounds somewhat quieter inside / less drone, which was my main goal. I do go to the track, but car is also a daily for my family, and sometimes it's hard to talk due to all the noise.. This helps.

For the measurements on the outlet what size are those? When ordering oval exhaust tips, does it go with the width for size? Like left to right or top to bottom? Also, what size did you order for the outlet?

63mm inlet 89mm outlet for 2.5" MBRP. There are several sellers on AliExpress.

What year of stinger do you have? Are the oval exhaust on the stinger the same size in every year? I’m just wondering because I have a 2023 and I want to order oval exhaust tips. When measuring do you measure left to right or top to bottom?
