Exhaust Tips

Just got my tips delivered today and I ordered from US $28.35 19% OFF|Car styling Oval Slanted carbon black Exhaust Tip Glossy Carbon Fiber muffler Exhaust tip muffler pipe Tailpipe trims|Exhaust & Exhaust Systems| - AliExpress (IN 63 OUT SIZE A)

Ordered on June 6th delivered June 16th. Quite fast compared to these other stories.

Are you fitting these to the standard exhaust or and aftermarket system ? As i have the X force and the tip on these are only 2 inchs.. or 51mm. Also, very curious to see how the fitment goes.

Very sharp! I'm curious to know if these install without any modification.

I fit these onto a MBRP exhaust and the overall tip part fit well. (Though I can't say with 100% confidence if you may need some trimming as I trimmed mine for circular tips previously). From what I can see it shouldn't require any trimming to fit.

Only issue I had with mine was the cut outs on the pipe were a bit rough on the inside so I took a dremel and sanded down the inside of the tips and they slide onto the exhaust much easier.

Does Akrapovic make a tip that is oval like the OEM tips in black? I know they make them in CF but I'm not a big fan of CF and want the tips to fit into the chrome delete look of my Stinger. If anyone has a link I would greatly appreciate it.

I ordered these and was looking to paint them black. Sadly, order was placed over a month ago and they are not stateside yet.

OK, that's a good option too. I would probably have them powdercoated instead of painted though. Did that with my OEM tips and it was only $85 to have all 4 tips done. Thanks for the link. If you don't mind, let me know how long it eventually takes for you to get them. I just waited 6 weeks to get my H&R springs from Germany so I'm getting a little better at waiting than I usually am.

When are you gonna upload? I'm very interested especially if it will save me 6-8 week shipping time from China, but I need to order something soon.

Thx.

So you ordered four tips in the 63mm Size A? When I select that and then input my vehicle I get a message that says the product is incompatible with my vehicle.

Don't know how much I would trust the vehicle fit guide on that site, but for my Quicksilver exhaust I had to order 60MM inlet as 63MM is too large. 63MM inlet fits MBRP though. Size A because I think Size B would be too large for the cutouts in the diffuser.

Snowy GT2 is correct. 63mm will fit your MBRP exhaust. OEM outlet I believe is smaller diameter hence why it would state this about the selected vehicle. It’s the inlet diameter that people use when purchasing the akravopic tips

My AkraFAUXvic tips -- ordered 6/22 from the AKSports store on AliExpress -- just showed up today 6/28. Can't complain about the delivery time! First time ordering from AliExpress ...

Hi all, i have one question about the type of tips everyone has purchased. What do people prefer... to have the oval type tips or the round tips in relation to the type of sound that the different shapes make.. if it makes any difference at all ? TIA

The shape doesn’t impact sound. I’ve tried both and prefer oval because they fit better with less chance of vibration in the diffuser.

I got 2 quotes from different shops to put the tips on. I'm definitely doing it myself. I got quoted $100-150 at a muffler shop. Then I got quoted a little over $200 at my mechanic while I was getting the car aligned. I didn't think it would be so expensive for a shop to do it.
