And yours is flashing when driving ?Nope, no other lights.

The light is just on all the time now where as before it would flash while driving. My head is in the same place as yours, maybe a faulty fluid sensor.Wonder if your problem is as simple as, the brake fluid level sensor is faulty, and misreporting. So the car "THINKS" it is low on brake fluid even though it is not.
Did your wheels lock up?Well I broke down and made a service appointment at the dealer. Will see how it goes. I'm expecting the absolute worst. My guess is they will say I need two new rear calipers.
Lolol. Total lack of diagnosis, and just parts cannon (throw parts at it until it's fixed)My guess is they will say I need two new rear calipers.
I don't think they are that stupid. What are the chances for both rear calipers go bad at the same time?Lolol. Total lack of diagnosis, and just parts cannon (throw parts at it until it's fixed)
And it will somehow cost multiple thousands of $$$
Good luck my friend. Dealer experience with Kia is NOT usually great.
Hopefully,
Nope but I washed the car on the weekend, drove it 35kms to work and back including stops from highway speeds and the outside of the rotor didnt sweep the old pad mark off from my wash on the weekend. Something odd is going on with those rear calipers if theyre only wearing the rear inside pads on both sides.Did your wheels lock up?
I'm not sure if you mean I'm a parts cannon or if I should become one before ever heading to a dealer. But the rear pads needed replacement and I did the rotors too because the old ones had vibes from the oem pads, thats all I've spent so far. But to be honest, Id rather parts cannon than take my car to the dealer because I flat out don't trust them.Lolol. Total lack of diagnosis, and just parts cannon (throw parts at it until it's fixed)

Hopefully, yours is an exception.
I don't think the dash light has anything to do with any of the calipers...I don't think they are that stupid. What are the chances for both rear calipers go bad at the same time?
Sorry, no, I was referring to a typical Kia dealership experience... they, dealership, are usually very poor at diagnosis, and they just throw parts at a problem, until it's fixed, rather than diagnosing, and replacing the correct part.I'm not sure if you mean I'm a parts cannon or if I should become one before ever heading to a dealer. Sweet. most likely culprit was the culprit. It was diagnosed as a faulty brake fluid sensor. The sensor is on backorder but its covered under warranty.
It is brake fluid level sensor just unplug it until can be replacedYup fixed 2 piston brembos. I discovered that one side has a torn dust boot that also appears to be partically melted possible from heat exposure. I'm hoping that might be the issue and will rebuild that caliper. What a wild goose chase! Im trying anything I can before going to the dealer. I dont trust them at all.
Then you would just get an additional dash error or just a new one hahaIt is brake fluid level sensor just unplug it until can be replaced
I know some time has passed, but did you had this issues solved? I am in the same situation and the dealer has ordered a new sensor, hope will solve it.It was diagnosed as a faulty brake fluid sensor. The sensor is on backorder but its covered under warranty.
