What is the period on your engine to start using it hard

600 miles according to the manual

I did 1,500 before really putting my foot through the floor. Every 100 miles I would do a 3/4 throttle pull and short shift just to have a little fun.

So this is my info gathered. To really break the motor in properly I've read that you've got to keep the rpms between 2500 and 4k. Also do not hold the rpm steady for any long period of time for something like 600 miles. Personally I did not go over 4k for a few more miles than that. Also the launch control wants 1500 miles on the tranny before you start clutch dumping that beeeatch.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I religiously did the first 600 miles: keep RPMs between 2K and 4K (used Sport mode exclusively, because that made keeping above 2K easier); also I was gentle on my brakes; but then I am always gentle on the brakes unless an emergency situation crops up.

My breakin lasted from when I started my car till when I drove off the lot.
