Engine Lifter Noise

Makes sense, diesel engines need a high pressure fuel pump too, part of the noise of a diesel might be from its pump as well.

the diesel engines work off of detnation to make the combustion process , so yeah the fuel pumps and the motor pretty much exploding is the noise , lol

Why does this make you feel better? Our s does it and part orderer ( mechanics secretary) informed her it's a fuel injector noise?

These motors are very noisy high pressure fuel pump clacks and injectors clack on this type of set up.lots of fresh oil changes and good fuel and fuel cleaner couple times a year helps
