• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Found this little vid posted yesterday with Russell Ingall and Paul Morris reviewing the Stinger. Cool to watch, gets a good review too. Sorry if I've not posted this is the right place...

Great review, have to say I agree with everything they said, it should be being raced in supercars, and Kia marketing of what’s meant to be their flagship car is shit. The hype it had in Australia pre release hasn’t turned into sales and that has a lot to do with how Kia promote it. They did about 1000 in the first year, it’s better than that and should’ve knocked Holden and Ford out of the park especially since they don’t build locally anymore. The new “Commodore” (I hate calling it that) doesn’t even hold a candle to the Stinger. It seems the Stinger is doing more in sales by word of mouth from existing owners than actual Kia marketing, well that’s how it feels to me anyway. A lot of people who ask me about mine tell me they haven’t seen any others on the road. That can’t be a good thing for a car in it’s second full year of sales

Nice. Also agree - no marketing, no pedigree. Sure as heck has the looks and performance.

The Stinger is the perfect fit for Supercars, KIA Australia need to back a team, this is perfect advertising for this type of car & they may be surprised with increased interest & sales.

This is an old rendering, but you get the idea.

Really good review. Agree with everything they said (although part of me is happy that Kia havent marketed the Stinger very well here in Australia so I have a somewhat unique car and not a car that every second person has *cough* Mustang *cough*

O/T so apologies in advance. Took a drive out to the new Costco in Ipswich today. About 80 minutes driving time all up. Saw 7 Mustangs and 1 Stinger. And the Stinger was in the car park at Costco.

Pretty decent review, unlike TFL which became goofy and I no longer view content from.

An honest and fun review from 2 of AU's top professional race drivers. Take note of the rego and don't buy a demo/used MY18 in Sunset Yellow !!!!

Awesome video! I absolutely agree 100% with everything that Rusty and Paul said in the video.
Having a great product is not enough. KIA need to do more to capture the hearts and minds of the buying public. For people to part ways with around 60k for a car, there needs to be some kind of emotional attachment to the product. I believe KIA should enter supercar racing here in Australia and launch a new aggressive ad campaign.

car that every second person has *cough* Mustang *cough*
I see one every time I go out, my hubby's taken to calling them " Falcons " because they are so common
