hello fellow forummers! I am in a little bit of a pickle at the moment. I am planning on switching my stock hood emblem to the E emblem but there is an issue.

As you all know, the kia emblem is a wide oval while the E emblem is circular (at least the one I have is). I currently have PPF on the hood which is cut around the kia emblem. If I were to remove that and place the E emblem, then the E emblem will be glued on top of the PPF in the top and bottom area while the left and right side of the emblem on the hood will be left exposed.

Are there some genius problem solvers out there that can assist me with my current issue?

Thanks guys!

Re PPF that section

Unless you're prepared to add pieces to cover exposed areas (extra visible seams) or to replace the whole panel, there isn't much option. Now, if you chose the more expensive option, take out that emblem to avoid the cut out. Replace the emblem on top of the PPF.

I was faced with the same dilemma, went with a different badge which fitted perfectly.

The oval "K" badge fits as well. Or, you can get one of Sal's "K" overlays and just leave the original KIA badge on. That's what I did. The "K" looks more cool than the "E" anyway, imho.
