Inspired by the blue GT on Vossen’s website, I added Eibach springs and Vossen HF1 wheels this week, thanks to Josh @GetYourWheels. I’m very happy with how they turned out on the Ceramic Silver and glad to see that adding springs on top of the Eibach dual sway bars I already had didn’t really effect ride quality. Enjoy.

19x8.5 et32 front
19x9.5 et40 rear

Looks real good, fella !

Looks really nice, I wish that the eibach would go a smidge lower in the front for rake. Either that or up a smidge in the back.

Thank you!

It’s RWD, and I kept the stock tires until they are worn out. I will probably go up to 235 in front and I would like to see a 275 in the rear, but may just do a 265.

Looks good! Adding a 5mm spacer to the rear will make it look even better and flush with the fender.

I’m running 19x9.5 et 35 on the back and it’s perfect.

I’m also on the stock tires for now until I burn em up but will go to a 255/35 front and 275/35 rear to get a more square look to the tires as I’m not a fan of how the stretch looks on the stock tires.

What made you choose to stick with 19s, and not go up to 20's?

I thought sticking with the 19s was the best overall look, IMO. Seems to go well with the size of the car. I wanted a look that was custom, but also says “the car could have been built that way.”

Not a huge fan of spacers. I’ve heard too many horror stories. I think it looks perfect the way it is, and with the addition of the alignment adding positive camber back to the wheels and wider tires down the road, the only gap left should be gap I need to clear the fenders.

Honestly, I can’t stop staring at it. I ordered black Stinger script for the rear to match the darker contrast of the wheels and I’m DEBATING the E badge on the front. Problem is, I love seeing the look on people’s faves when they read “Kia” after staring at it.

Yeah, im thinking 19 or 20... but if i replace springs like you did, then it still looks awesome with 19s

The springs really helped to make the look. I ALMOST didn’t do them, but I’m so glad I did.

Yes, you are making me really consider getting the springs now!

I'm not sure what horror stories you've heard with spacers but they're harmless. I've ran probably 20 sets over the years on various applications with no issues. You just have to make sure they're hubcentric and that they're installed properly with enough thread on the bolts.

I bought this 5mm set and will be running them on my front wheels (19x8.5 +35) to get me to +30 which will be a flush look.

I agree. Spacers are fine AS LONG AS THEY ARE HUBCENTRIC. Dont cheap out.

Do you get any rubbing of the inner wheel arches, OR bottoming out on the underside of the car?

I haven’t had any issues at all. Haven’t even hit a curb with the front end. Fingers crossed, I won’t...

Awesome... there was a guy at our last meet the other day, and he had his car lowered on stock rims and said he would scrape speed bumps and find it difficult to go down ramps in multi-storey car parks... So just wondered if you had similar issues...

Yea, not even close. In fact, out here where I live is a road under construction that is basically a drop-off onto an adjoining road, and as long as I take it at an angle, no issue.
