Eibach springs and sways

Trim the bump stops people as the Eibach instructions state. Went over a moderate bump at a railroad crossing at about 40 mph, bottomed out the front shocks. Backs were fine. Going back to my mechanic to have both front and back trimmed to be safe.

Ok im going to retract something i said earlier in the thread. I said the rear of the car had decreased wallowing dramatically with the inclusion of the eibach springs. Obviously i hadn't tested that theory properley. Yesterday took the vehicle through some out of town bends and hills, under moderate exelleration on cornering that waggle and dipping sensation was most defintely there. Springs have been on a month. Might have to invest in the rear sway bar. Foot note. Most evident wallow on accelleration up inclines with cornering. Front: No issues to note.

Sorry to hear that you do not sound to be satisfied with the springs, I’m having my sway bars fitted this week so I’ll keep you posted on the handling aspect you have mentioned as I believe these bars should minimise/eliminate the tail wag on accelerated cornering, especially in sport mode.

Just picked up my car after my dealer fitted front & rear sway bars only, already the car feels less “boaty”.
The few corners I took you can already feel a marked decrease in body roll, time will tell as they “bed in”....so far very happy with the result, I will keep you posted once I do a good drive, in the meantime my dealer took these photo’s for me.
I had both F & R set to a) Softest Setting.

Well I just went for a quick run along a long country type road near me, wow these Eibach sway bars really make this car. I did it one way in comfort mode the ride is still comfortable but the car feels firm on the road & not so squirmy, did a youie at the other end & switched to sport mode, again wow this thing was running on rails, gave it hard acceleration at times & the rearend wiggle/twitch has gone, this thing is now super stable.
Went through a tight roundabout (at Twin Creeks @Ozstung will know where that is) at a higher speed than normal, the car did not waver & I couldn’t stop smiling, this set up suits my driving style & needs perfectly its the best investment yet, I highly recommend this upgrade.
Cannot wait to go to work tomorrow...wait, what did I just say...lol.

Im convinced too but im scared to mention it in case my "accountant" shows me the spare room. My negiotiating skills got me tint, springs and exhaust this might be a mod to far im running out of Stinger cred.

Just tell her sway bars or death when you lose the back end. She can’t argue with that. My tax return is going to pay for mine.

You can do the same for me re: exhaust, get in front of me so my wife can hear how good it sounds & you need to also non stop talk about how it's enhanced the car & all the comments you get....lol

It should eliminate the wallow, it did with mine but I had front & rear done. Will update after a big run we are doing Sunday 28th weather permitting.
