Help me understand this eco mode. I drive mostly in the city and get 14 mpg with premium unleaded gas.
Here is the thing. In eco mode it goes threw 5 gears before hitting 45. Thats great less rpm save on gas. But then you have to give it more throttle because the car is going so slow on take off since the rpms are so low since essentially your in the wrong gear for that speed. I thought more throttle means you are putting more fuel in the engine.
Then people are getting pissed at you because you are going from 0-60 in 2 minutes and holding them up.
If any one could help explain it to me that would be great. You literally have to learn how to coast for longer in order for any gas savings.
