EBC Brakes Pad Giveaway - March

I won the last giveaway, so don't choose me, however,

Unless you are driving an actual Tank, Looking at you random farmers of Ukraine, don't act like you're the biggest, baddest thing on the road, their is always a bigger truck. (Or a really, really overbuilt smart)

Thanks to all that have given their top tips so far, some great responses from everyone! Just a few days left for people to enter for your chance to win a free set of EBC Brakes pads

If I could tell my younger self one thing, it would be stick with auto shop. Since owning my Stinger it has been a blast modifying it. Something I should have been into at 19 not 54. It's been a challenge but definitely worth it. Maybe a few more shop classes would have eased the tension and saved a few knuckles during a few installs.

If I could share a tip to my younger self, it would be to attend to a Performance Driver Education course. As a Father, I enrolled my teenage son into both the BMW Ultimate Driver - Teen Driver Course and the TireRack Sponsored Teen Driving Course. These made him a more aware and confident driver. Learning what to do in extreme driving situations/conditions is invaluable!

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I just had my first child (kept it a surprise and it was a boy!) on 3/1. I immediately found myself driving more cautiously and defensively, the way I might have when I just started learning, but with loads more experience at the age of 40. If there is one thing I can add to this thread, it is pretty simple. Think about the people that love and rely on you the next time you make the decision to have "just one drink", or answer a text, or feel a bout of road rage coming on, or any other absolutely avoidable decision that may have repercussions that can impact those you love most for the rest of their lives.
Apologies all for the late response on this, we had issues with our account and i was unable to message or comment on anything!!!

mark my words!!! i shall win someday

The best piece of advice I could give to the younger generation learning to drive or already driving with a sense of confidence is always be on the lookout for what other drivers are going to do. Words from the wise. My pop always told me this before I left the house when I first started to drive. You know what you are doing when you are driving and where you are going but you have no idea of what other drivers are capable of. The other driver could be drunk, on the phone, or just a ignorant driver who drives reckless. Always be aware and cautious of what other drivers are going to do and you will be two steps ahead of the game.

We're back with another Brake Pad Giveaway, we will be giving one set of pads (front or rear) to one randomly selected forum member from our entire range, just by participating in the below thread!

In past giveaways We have discussed our first cars, garage and storage spaces, famous people we have met or would like to have met and weird and wonderful vehicles amongst other topics.

For this giveaway we would like to start a discussion for all new drivers; what top tip would you give to your younger self when learning to drive? Either as a complete beginner on the streets or for your first time hitting the track, what valuable lesson do you wish you knew that you can bless a younger generation with?

The lucky winner will be randomly selected and announced within a few days after the closing date of 1st April 2022 and details will be posted on this forum within a few days of the closing date.

Please be aware that this thread may appear in more than one section on the forum and one winner will be selected from the whole forum, not a winner per thread.
Pad choice will be based on availability and where a chosen pad is unavailable, an alternative will be offered.

If you are not the lucky winner, EBC Brakes are pleased to be able to offer a 10% discount off their braking products to all members of the forum community using code FORUM10USER
This discount code can be redeemed at EBC Brakes Direct | EBC Brake Pads | EBC Brake Discs or with our USA partners at Perfect Brakes | EBC Brake Pads | EBC Rotors
