• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

You all know im a bit apprehensive about changing the badges front and back and steering wheel, so i bought these. They look cloudy in the photo but they are black and chrome like the Kia badge. Cost me $43 delivered from US.
You apply like ppf but no water, smooth out with credit card then apply some heat from about 6-8” away from hair dryer to set adhesive. The best part is they are flush with surface of old badge.
What do you think as i havent put them on yet. My wife thinks the Kia badge looks better.

Mmm you going to have to be the Guinea pig here, time will tell. Do these are basically transfers.

Personally they're not activating my " bling radar"

I don’t know, it comes down to personal preference. They don’t really do anything for me, but I went with the metal badge replacement. I like how they look, others don’t. I’m still on the fence at times with the E badge I have on the front now, but I like it more than the original Kia badge so it stays, plus I don’t want to risk wrecking the paint. As for the rear, well it’s no contest, the large Stinger script in my view is 1000 times better than the factory Kia badge.

In the end it comes down to are you happy with how it looks on your car.

I put them on my car and they look good. Not as good as a badge change. Put them on if you don't like them peel them back off.

I know you want pictures, those will have to wait until Saturday.

I'm honestly not a fan of how they look. The metal badge looks nice, is round not oval, and it says Stinger on it. That's what I have on the front and.back and I really like it.

A little back story here... i asked him to make this badge overlay and sent him the images. I have the one on the front and it looks really nice. Not having to mess with removing the badge and deal with the thin paint was nice.

That "cloudy" look is just the transfer paper

Here you go. I didn't use the back or steering wheel but did what you see third.

I was really happy with it. Decided to balance the awd badge from the other side.

I just left it in the sun. If it is cold there just hit it with a hair dryer for a little bit

Only on about a month. I'd guess a couple years like normal vinyl.
