So I am getting my spark plugs and JB4 installed and and dyno run tomorrow.

Is there anything special I need to do or tell them about the car for the dyno runs?

They normally tune Subaru’s.

I had my shop just do the obvious things. Switch to sport mode, ECS fully disabled, also turned off the parking sensors, blind spot monitoring, etc. I told them about the kickdown switch, which they were fully aware of. He told me he pushed past the kickdown after about 4500 RPM's. Lastly, they'll figure out which gear runs best on their dyno. Most tuners use 5th gear, some use 4th. It doesn't really matter, if this is your baseline then just do the same gear on your modded run.

I believe 4th gear is a 1:1 ratio. I think that is why most do 4th. I could be mistaken though.

You going to run with a little bit of E85? so you an do a map 5 dyno? I suggest 4 Gallons of E85 and 8 of 93

Thank you I didn’t even think of that. My tank is almost on E so I’ll make sure to do that.

that won’t cause a problem for the lower maps right? I don’t think I’ll be running on map 5 for my DD maybe 2 or 3.

also do I only have a CAI I don’t need anything else crazy for map 5 aside from the fuel mixture?

Nope you will be good. I used to daily on 3 but that was me.

The Intakes and JB4 w somewhere around e30 and i bet you are around 440 to the wheels!

Make sure you do a YT video bro!

Looking forward to your results and video!

440 whp on the mustang, yeah that was the only one close to me that had AWD capabilities.

this thing is moving though I couldn’t be happier!

So, this is just a jb4 and intakes? And it produces these kind of results? Holy cow... I'm suddenly feeling that mod itch again...

Lol it wouldn't be my first rodeo, I'm just amazed by the numbers for the cost. That's a pretty good horsepower to Dollar ratio

Yeah This JB4 is amazing, I just can’t get good traction right now on map 3 or 5 map 2 is giving me my best 0-60 time.

Still gotta play with things a bit more!

Awesom!

Just to clarify... those numbers are with Map 2, Map 3, and Map 5?
Map 2 being the lowest and Map 5 being the highest power?

Very nice numbers!!!! And I agree with @Moses regarding dollar to power.

I gotta admit though, I read the title and thought "yes, how much would you tip the dyno run guy?" :)
