Duplicolor shadow chrome

I know some people on here have used this product on their badges to achieve the black chrome look. Can anyone give an update on how it's holding up? Any chipping or flaking? What was your process for painting...adhesion promoter, paint and clear or something different. I know Sal has been working on getting large rear scripts in black chrome but due to the virus, delivery has been delayed. Can't wait anymore...that polished chrome has got to go. It holds up fine but isn't anywhere near the black chrome.

As I only used it on the OEM stinger emblem, which lives by itself on the back, the lack of a match doesn't bother me.

Mine has been on since October with no issues. I like how it outlined the script. I'm sure if I added more coats it would have darkened up but it's good for me for now.
