I’m going to paint my strut braces but it will take a couple of days. While they are off the car is it safe to drive it around? Will anything get bent or out of alignment in the bodywork at the front? I know they are just for supporting the radiator but they must be important or they wouldn’t be there.

Anyone drive around for a few days with them removed? Any issues?

they arent structural/strut braces, we just call them that. they actually give reinforcement to the radiator support bar.

you can drive without them on just fine

They don't really provide a lot of support. Probably more so for crash force absorbing?

I think coolant got on those. I don’t think just water would do that. It looks like something ate through the OEM clear coat.

Probably coolant. The OEM ones look meh anyways, tell your dealer to ditch those and get you the BMS ones.
