Ok, I swear I have searched this forum for the information and I sorta found some info but nothing straight and forward.

I am looking for a 17 or 18 inch rim and radial tire setup for the RWD stinger. From what I can find the 17 could fit but you have to change the drag links I think.

This setup will setup will be purely for the strip and I will swap over once I am there.

If there is someone who is knowledgeable on this subject that would be willing to share their opinion I would be greatly appreciative of their time.

I've considered a similar setup but here's something to think about. If you study your logs, you'll notice there's a shift between 1st and 2nd just before the 60'. I'd love to see some data on one of these threads with someone who's put a taller tire on. A smaller will rpm faster but as much torque these cars have I think a taller tire might produce a better e/t than a shorter. Just a guess though....

I was also trying to see about a taller tire if that would be an advantage. I know we don’t have much room in the wheel well the go much taller, but possibly a touch. However honestly at this time I am just trying to find a good rim and tire setup that will work. Need to know the the backspacing that people have used, as I’d like to go to a 17 to get as much sidewall as possible.

Whatever size wheel you end up getting, make sure to get a tire that is as close to OEM tire height 26". The Stinger launch isn't that great and the car takes some time to go into full boost even with the brake snip mod. Better to stick with shorter tires to maintain the same OEM final drive ratio and go to full boost quicker.

I was about to pull the trigger on some Forgestar F14 (18 x 5 fronts and 18x10 rears), I sent them the offset details and they make a set that will even clear my upgraded big brake kit, also the 18's shouldn't require shorter end links. I was going to go with either a Nitto 555R2 275/40/18 (26.4" height) or Hoosier full slicks 245/40/18 (26" height).

Could find a way to message Stinger directly but what made you pic using catless primary’s and move Cats to secondary’s?
