When I first saw my GT2 at the dealer back in April it had just been delivered and had plastic wrap on it all over in various places. It also had little blue bumper blocks stuck to each door. I was washing the car the other day and noticed that there is residue left over from those bumper blocks. It's like clear tape (that is now dirty) and looks like crap. I've tried to remove them with no luck. If it was any other surface I would use a razor blade - but it's my car door! Anyone else have this and found a way to remove them without damaging the paint? Yes, I can take it back to the dealer but would prefer not to have to do that for scheduling reasons. If necessary I'll wait for the first oil change and have them deal with it then. The photo isn't high quality but it will give you an idea of the issue.

Goop, probably similar/the same thing. That does look crappy. Dealer "car prep". Heh!

A very easy way without damaging the paint is apply( WD40 ) ON A SOFT CLOTH and gently rub it off .WD40 is a product used for lubrication. It's great for removing road tar and other.Wash off with soapy water.

Quick update - Goo Gone solved the problem. Recommended!
