Maybe this isn't very revolutionary

But I just discovered some quirks and features of the door handle buttons on my new-ish GT. If the car is locked, one press opens the driver's side door. Another opens the passenger side door. Ok here's what I just "discovered". If unlocked, another press locks the doors. This is great because now I don't have to dig for the key in my pocket to lock the doors. It can just permanently stay there.

I haven't messed with the passenger door yet, but I assume that button does the same?

Similar - Single press on the passenger door locks or unlocks all doors

You can change the setting, either in the infotainment or the gauge cluster and make it so 1 press unlocks all of the doors. No seconds press needed for the passenger doors.

Lol. I get ambushed by this all the time, still. I will assume that I locked the car (in my driveway, I lock it using the armrest button, to spare the mirror turn-in motors), walk up to the passenger door to open it for my wife, and LOCK the doors (which also turns in the mirrors): requiring a second push to unlock all the doors (and turn the mirrors back out, heh!).

Just wait till you have the car running, parked, you exit and you walk to open the passenger door with the button (for mum or GF). Looking like a jack ass because it won’t unlock. Walking back around to hit the button.
Fn Kia.

Yes, that one gets me too, about as often as the scenario I described.

Mr. Mad......you can change the setting for the folding mirrors in the dash settings menu to "stay put" instead of folding......LOL

Yes. And I can select "out" on the armrest button. But anywhere else but my driveway, I want to fold them in. :)

Figured that.......poor motors....LOL

I turned mine off when I first got my Stinger but then said to myself...."those damn motors had better last the life of the car" and so I turned them back on. Winter time was the only time I turned them off in case they tried to freeze in the closed position....wouldn't do me any good that way.;)

Ha I'm also wondering about the longevity of the motors. Well I know I'll get 5 years out of them or others ;). I manually (via button) fold and unfold to get into/out of my garage, never leave them in auto typically since I don't do much street parking.
