Does upgraded FMIC cause turbo lag in the Stinger GT?

JT intercooler and piping upgrades, JB4 running map 2. No noticeable issues. It's slightly lazy in "comfort" mode, but always ready to rock in sport mode.

Negative.... no different than what you feel now on stock form. I personally felt like the car was smoother and pulled harder on the top end when wot.

If anything, there is less turbo lag, but also running water methanol with a big bore throttle body so maybe it cancels out.

Dude your car is stacked lol.... Have you been able to hit the dragstrip yet?

Yep, have been a few times hitting 11.2s 1/4 on average, best pass at 10.9 1/4 (with rear / passenger seats removed). Feels like it has some more in it, but definitely hitting a wall with fuel pressure at this point.

You had a 10.9 second pass wow dude ..... you have the fastest stinger in the world to date. No one has cracked the 10s yet. Are you on stock turbos ?

Very impressive list of mods. Did you notice a difference on throttle response with the oversized TB?

Really? I find that hard to believe no one else has broken 10's, but then again wondering how many people took out the spare tire, rear interior, passenger seat for their runs. Yes, stock turbos and all performance mods listed above. Have done some custom tuning on the JB4 as well.

I read somewhere the AWD with split diff cars are ~400lbs heavier too, guess it all adds up.

Yes, I do notice a difference, especially at WOT. I did have to tweak my JB4 settings along with adjusting the pedal tuner setting to get it feeling as responsive as I'd like.

Wow I am Impressed!! I assume your RWD? They need to add you to the top of the list here on the 1/4 mile forum here. @Tonkabob please add him to the top of the list. Have you been able to dyno the car? Do you have any videos of you 1/4 runs? Sorry for all the questions I am impressed.

Been contemplating getting the oversized TB but kind of hard forking the $400+ for it. Was the pedal tuner needed in order to make it behave better or is the factory TB mapping enough to make it work as intended.

If you have the time slips of the 1/4 mile runs, post them up so we can add you to the list of times we have for the fastest Stinger in the world.

Fastest stinger on the galaxy !!!!!

Others with the same mods are running 11.9s.
Send us a slip!

I have a feeling he might of lost the slips and there is no footage since the car is so fast.
Just put him on the list!

At the track or an OBDII app? Those times don’t add up.

A second faster than anything else.. pretty amazing. Would love to see the slip..

Yes, RWD with no LSD. Have not dyno'd her with the throttle body / tuning changes. Still contemplating doing some other things before I bear the expense.

No videos, wish I had some. Had several people tell me how good the car sounds at a distance, so I'm curious to hear that for myself, but not curious enough to let someone else drive it ;)

Found my slip from the 10.987 run (left) against a Genesis Coupe (right). Mods above, JB4 Map8 (modified, by me), no interior, 100 Octane race gas (2 gallons), full Methanol flow (single size 10 nozzle).

An official informed me after the run I needed fire gear / roll cage if the car is running sub 11's (NHRA rules apparently?) so that was my first and last run of the evening. Didn't think that would be a concern as I did not intend on breaking 11s. Seem to recall it being rather windy that day, perhaps that helped push things along... or the track timer wasn't calibrated correctly *shrug*.

I do have a Dragy that's not been set up yet, will have to do that, take the interior out again, find some empty road, and see how the numbers compare.
