Does the kia stinger GT LINE 2.5T comes with launch control?

Hey guys I have that stinger and actually I don’t know how to activate that, I’ve been watching videos about it, but idk if the 2023 can do the launch control, somebody who has the 2023 gt line version can tell me ? Thank you!!

well blow me down, no launch control on the '23 gt-line. forget what I said on the other thread. also, you don't need launch control. just engage auto hold. gently put your foot on the go pedal and when the light turns green push down enough to disengage auto hold and this will give you a one mph rolling start then mash to the kickdown switch. that's as good as you'd get with launch control anyway.

I have a 23 GT linke 2.5t and yes, it does have launch control. I use it often but like sniklefritz said it's useless and just smashing the gas results in the same performance 0-60

Really? Yeah I’m not trying to use that every time I just wanted to see the features of my car but I’m still can’t get it done, I’m still can’t see when I follow the step ( launch control ready ) nothing appears on the screen so I don’t know

^^ 'lockdown switch'? auto hold is the button to the left of the drive mode knob. the button to the right is the one you hold down to turn off traction and stability control. without launch control I don't know why you would ever want to do that.

it occurs to me that the my22 and my23 might have changed the controls and buttons arrangement I haven't been inside a my22 gt-line more than once for a test drive earlier this year but I didn't see any changes on the center console.

Ok thank you man, at this point i don’t know if he has it or no, because one guy with the 2023 gt line said it has launch control but in the pictures you sent of the features shown that it has not so I don’t know, there’s too much difference between gt line and GT2?

The transmission in launch control is detuned that's how they maintain their 100,000 mi warranty. Much better response already rolling

The 4 cyl and 6 cyl My23 Stingers come with Launch Control in Australia. The spec sheet shows it but the 4cyl is a 2.0L and there are no AWD Stingers here.
I have two My 23 Twin Turbo V6 GT Stingers and I have not tried Launch Control. I have also yet to see a 4cyl Stinger here...
