That scared me for a second lolYes, its limit is how much fuel you have in your tank.
I’ve read almost the whole manual and remember that part. I guess Kia didn’t add a limit because launch controlling the Stinger doesn’t put as much stress on the it compared to other cars? Because it launches at 2K rpm whereas most other manufacturers do it at 4K-5K.How hot your trans gets. That's the only limit mentioned in the owner's manual. LC will turn OFF if the trans fluid is too hot.
Try on a Sunday at 3 am at your local freeway!Ive got almost 20k miles in 20 months of ownership and I still have not tried LC! Where do you guys practice this? I don't feel like there's a spot good for this here.
Any stop light with you and the Stinger in Pole Position (lane ahead wide open), and at least a 50 MPH speed limit.Ive got almost 20k miles in 20 months of ownership and I still have not tried LC! Where do you guys practice this? I don't feel like there's a spot good for this here.
You can't seriously be recommending STOPPING on the freeway to launch?f

I do them mostly at stop lights. It’s very easy to race here because most stop lights have a timer and you can get launch control ready before it turns green.Ive got almost 20k miles in 20 months of ownership and I still have not tried LC! The feature wouldn't be included if it wasn't meant to be used but I know what you mean.I've never used LC or the kick down switch. Figured those practises would place excess wear on the drivetrain.
I plan on maintaining this piece of excellence machinery forever.
I've got too much mechanical sympathy lolThe feature wouldn't be included if it wasn't meant to be used but I know what you mean.
