I have wondered something and here looks like a relative place to ask. Do you guys have any information on Lane Keep Assist wearing brake pads faster? It logically makes sense but I have never been able to find anything on it in searches.

What do you all think?

Lane keep doesn't break the car as far is I know. It takes control of your steering and turns you back into the lane.

Torque vectoring does. That's when the car applies the breaks automatically in hard cornering situations. Maybe that's what you meant.

Lane Keep Assist maintains you in lane by applying the brakes to the opposite side to pull you back in lane. Or so I understood.

Lane keep assist help keep you in your lane using the torque vector in your rack and pin on. It does not apply your brake at all. The only time the brake is apply is when your front end collision is active or you smart cruise is on.

Good to know I was mistaken! Don't need to wear those breaks any faster that is for sure. Thanks for the correction guys!
