bro, its glenville. you will be up against some guy driving his dad's amg or porsche. some other dude in a clapped out civic thinking he is going to be the next vin diesel. the octagerian driving a packard that he bought new and has been kept in the garage under a baby's diaper and misted with diesel fuel every spring. the husband and wife team who own his and hers 67 camaro's. the lifted truck. the slammed truck. a couple of zl1 camaros, a whole slew of mustang 5.0's you will win, hands down. just because the car is beautiful and because nobody wants to see jake and his packard win. again.

Well I brought my Stinger to my first car show as promised. You described it kinda right, although a bit harshly. Since it was modern era cars, there weren't any Packards there, but plenty of US muscle cars, Stingrays, a lot of Cameros and some T-Birds. the people were genuinely nice and many interested in the Stinger. However, after about two hours, sitting on a lawn chair was waxing my fender became a little to low key for me, so I departed. It was worth doing for the experience and the attention the Stinger got. I may do one again, depending on how bored I am at the time. No regrets in any way, just a little too mellow after a couple of hours.

I was just kidding. Have done waaay too many of those. You meet some really nice people at these shows. But, I have met a "Jake" with his Packard. He had a whole slew of trophies because there was nobody there that could beat the natural patina of his case. You also got a headache from the diesel fumes . Glad you went and enjoyed it.
