Do the 2019’s have the brake rotor issue?

I searched but couldn’t find a true answer if they resolved the issue for 2019. I’m close to pulling the trigger on a 2019 and was just curious.

Well I guess that’s a loaded question, not everyone has had issues with brake rotors from previous years so I don’t see 2019 being any different, as long as you observe the bedding in procedure the warranty Kia offer should take care of the rest.
IMHO, pull the trigger & enjoy a great car....we all have & are, hope you get a great deal...

Living in Austin, stop and roll traffic is pretty much 24/7 lol. I’m thinking brake bedding is prevalent around town.

I have 5000 miles on my baby and tracked the car for the first time in central Florida and let me tell you there is no problem whatsoever mine is a 2019.

It is not the rotors it is the pads. See the brake forum sticky.
