I’m currently buying all I need to setup JB4 on my 23 Stinger. I’ve seen one person highly recommend getting the EWG connectors to avoid “over boost” but that’s the only time I’ve seen someone say that. Does anyone know if this is true or just worth it to get them for other reasons?
Currently getting JB4 tune, HKS plugs, PNP fuel wires, Velossa tech snorkels, K&N drop in filters.
My only current mod is Ark performance downpipes. I don’t plan on doing anymore after this.

There are some discussions on the JB4 forums about them. They're generally recommended for overboost conditions, but can also be used to dial in how aggressively boost comes on (and I think for other platforms like BMW/VW, they can be used to move the wastegates off throttle to avoid rattle).

However, you'll need to spend some time understanding the logic of the variables you're adjusting (FF and "duty cycle", which isn't really duty cycle but a scaling factor). My first read through left me scratching my head a bit, and I'd have to give it another pass to wrap my head around it.

If I don’t want to mess with any of that, can I just not get them? Or is it still best to install them?
