do all rwd gt's have a lsd ?

just wondering if my 2020 gt rwd has a lsd . how can i find out

quickest way is to get under the diff and look for "LSD OIL" next to the fill screw. next quickest is jack the rear up, in neutral, and spin one tire. if other side spins same direction, it's LSD. if it goes the opposite direction, it's not.

my 2019 GT2 RWD has an LSD, but not sure about the lower trims.

if memory serves me correctly, only the 2018 model year in the states was the lsd in rwd models an option... I think starting in 2019, lsd became standard for gt rwd models.

Looked up the docs, optional on lower trim gt rwd in 2018 standard on gt2 2018 , then standard on all rwd starting in 2019+. Awd in the states, only the 2019 gts awd and 2020 indigo gets LSD.

You can go through the different years and trims here .. interestingly the docs show that the gt1 trim in 2018 didn't have LSD even as an option but I'm pretty sure that is a mistake .. if anyone here with a 2018 gt1 has rwd LSD speak up! Lol 2018 Kia Stinger Features & Options

2018 RWD GT/1/2 did not have an LSD. They were effectively 1 wheel drive.
2019+ RWD GT/1/2 LSD became standard equipment.

I know this is an older thread, but how did you find out 18 RWD GT2s did not have LSD? The link above posted by vipeboy shows that 18 GT2s did have lsd.

2018 GT2, at least in the US, has the LSD. I don't think the GT1 did. It might have varied by market. Plenty of confusion since it changed starting 2019.
