I ended up getting a really good deal on used BMS intakes that I couldn’t pass up. That’s the only reason. I wanted to see if there was a difference between mine and BMS with heat shields, which I haven’t really noticed a difference on the IATs. With these intakes I ran 12.7 @ 108 with only intakes and brake snip. They have the same sound as the BMS as well.

Ok so these do not require the negative battery disconnect that the BMS kit requires?

I don’t believe the BMS kit requires you to disconnect the negative. You shouldn’t have to do that with any intake.
