So I spoke to the dealer I pre-ordered from today(Hunt club Kia) and apparently they will have a display model From the 23rd through the 26th so I am curious if in Canada they are just using a few cars and touring them around different dealers. 3 days doesn't seem like long to parade your latest and greatest.....

Looks like it , my Vancouver dealer gets theirs the same week and rotates it thru the local dealers ........... looks like all major Canadian markets get one . Looking forward to seeing it ( AGAIN ) they had one at the Vancouver Auto show earlier in the year

So I went and took a look at the Stinger tonight and was a bit surprised that it appeared that it was not a Korean model. Interestingly it was plated and had over 2000 kilometers on it. I included the pictures even though everyone has seen it all because of the color. Definitely not a color I would choose, but here is the Atomic Blue.

That does look like what we're getting here in the U.S. - no cupholder cover. That blue looks very much like BMW's Laguna Seca Blue...

My dealer gets his Thursday ,

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

Something doesn’t add up ...Kia won’t allow any test drive on Korean models as they are not legal and will all be demolished soon. It doesn’t have the “E” badge on the steering wheel. This make me think it’s not a Korean model. Plus the production model is supposed to have LED rear turn signal. Or maybe it’s not the same over there.

Conspiracy theory on the move , hahahahah . waiting is tough !

It's funny, but the dealer couldn't even give me a time frame when they would be there. So I called Kia Canada and they told me by November-December

At least in SoCal and Colorado, starting in about April there were Stingers being road tested and "spotted in the wild" that were popping up on the internet, so there are prototypes that were street legal. Fairly recently I heard about one being spotted on the street near the Kia design center in Irvine, CA. Any car in the showroom with mileage on it is undoubtedly one of those that was road tested.
