The speedometer font in the HUD goes italics when you are in sport mode!

Almost two years with the car and I never noticed. Now I am parked waiting to pick up my Chinese food and can't stop changing it back and forth....

Cheers, everybody!

You just like how the seat hugs you every time you change into Sport...

My favorite feature too =D
Ha! Unfortunately that doesn't happen in 2019 model (at least not mine), but I did like it in the 2020 one I test drove first.

Wonder if you can make it an add on?

I have never looked into it, but it is amazing what I have seen solutions for in this forum so far. That CANBUS product could probably do it.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
You can set the bolsters to tighten/release when you start/stop the engine, just not when sport mode is selected.

do the seats do the side huggy thing in a gt1? i cant figure out how to use that knob, it doesnt feel like it does anything to the sides of the seat.

did you also know that you can change the color of the ambient lighting? and change the digital skin where the gauges, etc are? and did you know you can change your display to off or have a screensaver? i like the tech stuff in the stingers.

the adjustable bolsters are not in the gt1 .

I can confirm this does NOT work on a Canadian 2022 Stinger Elite :(

Feels like every day I discover a new rollback/downgrade on the so called "face lifted" design...

I bet yours still has the G-Force meter and Lap timer.

I noticed the italics on like day 1 of ownership, I love little touches like that. It made me immediately think of Porsche.

Didn't realize that. Also a huge Dream Theater fan... Clearly you are a man of good taste.

I noticed today that while "Heads Up Display" font doesn't change, the font in the instrument cluster does, if you're on the speed readout screen.

and change the digital skin where the gauges, etc are?
The "skin" in the refresh model is inferior to pre-refresh, IMHO, and the changes between the skins are too subtle. I rather prefer the KDM G70's instrument cluster and themes.

I love this and have my shortcut light set to this. In fact I wish they had taken this feature further like Saab did with a "night mode" so I can blank out ALL the things that are not immediately relevant. For example, if I turn off the screen, turn off everything but the speedo, lighting the gas gauge only if it is low, the tach if only about 4k rpm (or in manual mode), radio and climate unless I am making an adjustment, then blank out again. I'm prone to migraines so I really appreciated the ability to kill off all interior lighting as needed in the Saab. I normally have ambient lighting and the infotainment screen on, but when I have a migraine and have to drive at night, or if visibility is poor and I need to eliminate all glare (whiteout/blizzard conditions), I very much appreciated "night mode" - night mode and the rear fog lights are the things I miss most about the Saab.

i like the tech stuff in the stingers.
