Came out to get in the car this morning and it looks like someone elbow dropped my trunk lid! I'm not sure when it happened, may have been overnight because I didn't notice anything wrong when I went shopping yesterday.

Any ideas on how I can get this dent out? It's thankfully not damaged the paint or the crease at the edge, from what I can tell.

That picture looks like paintless dent repair should be all you need. I would look for some local body shops that do that.

Body shop was my first instinct too but I figured I'd ask. You never know what kind of cheap and effective remedies you'll find on these car forums lol

I've seen YouTube videos where someone will pour hot water on the dent then use canned air to freeze it really quick to shrink the metal to pull the dent out.

Well I'll be swizzled: that "spoiler" isn't plastic??!!

(edit to add: it is not metallic: I just applied a magnet, as per @Deviate 's suggestion, and it does not stick)

I thought so too. I stared at the spot for a couple minutes trying to figure out if it was just an illusion, lol
You know i should have a definitive yes or no since i changed mine out. But im pretty sure its not metal. Best bet, stick a magnet on it that will tell you.

Your dealer should be able to recommend who they use. There are companies that specialize in doing just paintless dent repairs.

Heh! Not metal! WTH!? You wake up to find a dent in your spoiler, and now not the first clue how that happened during the night? The thick plottens ...

Hi
I own a ‘22 GT1 and just had the exact same thing happen to mine in what looks to be the exact same spot and even running in the same direction. What did your dealer say? Was it resolved?
No paint damage or any indication that something was dropped on it. I even laid my elbow/forearm along it and surmised that someone had tripped and fallen onto it.
I thought it might have been heat affected being plastic but it’s barely above mid 60’s in Florida at the moment. Intrigued to say the least abd even more so seeing the identical thing on yours.
