What would be the actions or something a defective JB4 would do, like how could it affect the performance of a car?

The main thing the JB4 does is alter the MAP/boost signal the ECU sees so it lets the turbos spool higher. If you have fuel wires, it'll also alter the AFR signal to lean things out. So in theory a problem with the JB4 could cause problems with those two parameters.

Do you have any specific symptoms? Depending on how severe, a good starting point would be to either pull a log from the JB4, or unhook it and see how the car runs without it, then reach out to BMS.

Thank you for that information
But…
Poor starting, NO BOOST so now positive acceleration, but we have already reached out to BMS about this issue and have sent logs in . But the car will drive fine for a lil then all of a sudden start flipping codes again…clear codes through the JB4 the car runs fine for a lil again then again after driving a lil will start flipping codes again and I had my car back n forth with my Tuner.. As I told my Tuner that TO ME the JB4 is like the brain of the car now over the ECU so if these repetitive actions the car keeps doing just keeps happening while we have done basically everything to fix this issue except what I was told to try and that’s replacing with stage2 spark plugs which I already have and ALL NEW COIL PACKS.(which I haven’t replaced yet). But STILL think it’s a defective JB4 that just confused and not communicating properly or how it should.

I was told by this other Tuner that running my car through the JB4 alone is what’s causing problems.(not saying I agree) but because it like “tricks” the car into doing something it wasn’t originally made to do…again, not saying I agree but it’s a thought!

I don't think your "Tuner" is knowledgeable about Stingers or piggybacks. The JB4 isn't the "brain of the car", it's just modifying a couple signals on their way to the actual brain of the car (the ECU).

If you're throwing codes, you need to start by investigating those rather than just clearing them out. What do the codes indicate? Have you tried disconnecting the JB4 to see if the same codes return without it?

Yea around where I’m from there’s not too many Tuners that know much about Stringers for it seems that everyone just has limited data on them. I told my Tuner myself that it feels likes it becoming a guessing game to them. And btw, we have been investigating it I just cleared them MYSELF just to see if they would keep coming back or just a malfunction. And as for my Tuner, I would think that the first things to try would be to disconnect the unit(JB4)as with disconnecting the battery as I was told to try, as with other things that would cause this issue and NO LUCK! It’s hard to find a Tuner here I can totally trust when it comes to working on my car so I have to go with whoever I feel more comfortable with working on my car I mean I can’t Make someone have knowledge about my car so I have to take what I can get unless since you seem to know more that you wanna come where I am to fix it yourself.

But anyway, my Tuner has been speaking to the Owner of BMS for he has a close personal relationship with him as there working TOGETHER to fix this issue ASAP!

All of the things you are suggesting have ALL BEEN attempted as others and STILL flipping codes why”I” not my Tuner think it could just be a malfunctioning JB4, I call it “process of elimination “

I don't see any of these:
1. What specific codes are you getting?
2. Have *you* run a JB4 log and looked at it yourself or posted it here for feedback?
3. Have *you* cleared the codes and disconnected the JB4 to see if the same codes come back without it?

Multiple posts saying "my tuner tried everything already" doesn't give us much to go on...

1. Attached.
2. Ran logs but HAVEN’T posted any here for feedback.
3. Yes I did disconnect the JB4 but did re-connect it (as my tuner) and all of the codes came back but just in different patterns as seen on attachments. Now wether my tuner disconnected the JB4 and tried it without theJB4 I’m not exactly sure but again would think that would be one of the first things he tried. But,all of everything else I’m sure of.
