Bimmers can be pretty quick. I can keep up with an M4 from a 40 roll for a bit but eventually he pulls away a bit. Not a car gap but definitely still an L lol
 
Im suprised to see how quick it is 0-60, but then falls off at the quarter. A stock stinger should've overcome him at distance, but maybe he was tuned with how you said that he walked you.

Well, the ‘22 M40i has a supposed 0-60 of 4.2 and 1/4 of 12.6 from what Motortrend reports and their ‘22 Stinger GT AWD got 0-60 of 4.6 and 1/4 of 13.1. But yeah, the way it was a no contest short pull, there was something else going on. Maybe...this is just all speculation
Curb weight is just shy of 200 pounds difference with the Beemer a bit porkier.

Got a new loss but not really a proper run so let me know what yall think.

2019-20-22?bmw x1 suv
Looked it up about 240hp stock
Freeway just crusing behind this odd looking bmw
Feel like a pass as we are both in the slow lane andy exit is coming soon
No one ahead so i get over and the beemer hits the gas
I just get on slow no downshift and its going away
So next step is stomp it and i am only keeping pace
Exit comes up and we both take it but im behind
Hes a good sport i get a wave and we go seperate ways


Does anyone think it was tune or timing?

timing, in no universe a x1 should pull a stinger
 
Did 8 runs last night, 6 where wins and I will post about those in the right thread, but I lost against either a GT350 or a GT500, Honestly couldn't get a good look at which one it was specifically, but I was ahead until about the 900ish foot mark. at 1000 foot we where bumper to bumper, and at the 1/4 he was a good second ahead of me at least if not more. Dude went from standing still to a blur. I think he did a Low to mid 10 second pass while mine was an 11.95, Then my other loss of the night went to a Model S plaid, which I knew was gonna be such a bad loss that I physically said "Shit. They really lined me up with him?" I actually did fairly well on that run, I did an 11.93 but I was standing still the entire run compared to the Tesla. dude ran a 9.2 and was so far ahead that I could read the time board and could physically see the 9.2 @157 clearly while I was still on my run haha. I think my buddy got that one on video if anyone wants me to post it.
 
Another 3 losses on Friday, the first two where because the track was cold all night, had no traction, and I was trying the brake snip harness for the first time and was in spin city. All 4 wheels where spinning for the first 40 feet or so. Won my 3rd run and set my best time yet, posted that in the wins/w a video as well. My last run was up against a dude running a Q50RS That has pretty obviously been built, as he ran an 11.037 against my 11.9

Dude was moving ass down the strip and I gave him a thumbs up at the end as we where in the braking zone, he waved and we went on our way.

I would have done more runs but the strip was absolutely packed.
