I'm not counting on it. The color selection is exactly what I expected. It's pretty much all any manufacturer is inclined to offer here.

You'd think they'd feel inclined based on the silly fact that they sent this color to most of their dealers to show off the car, but I don't know.
I checked Mexico's configurator and (like Canada), they don't have this color either. However, since they apparently like to do things differently for the US (like de-contenting, jacking the price up, etc.) maybe they'll carry that on and offer that color on this side of the globe here.

In very bright sun light like we have down here the pearl speckling is very noticeable. In more subdued lighting it looks very purple.

I know what you mean, I've never seen blue in my car in any light. Only different shades of purple, it might be me or that extreme aussie light.

You are too kind. I looked at your photos and was wondering how you got so much gloss on your car, was about to ask how you did that.

Nope, no wax. That photo was taken right after I dried the car. Actually, I didn't get to apply any wax/sealant on that day, it got way too cold at night and my hands froze. I used ceramic infused car shampoo (Carpro Reset), I believe that added some gloss. Planning another wash next week, since I didn't get to wash and dress the tires.

Back in September, the sales manager at Concord KIA called me to have a look at this beauty. I have bought a couple of times from him, and he knew I was waiting for the Stinger. It had 2 miles on the odometer, and he told me it was Korean spec.'d, and they weren't even allowed to test drive it, because legally it wasn't allowed to be driven in the US. He told me not to count on the color, which really bummed me out because this color id Beautiful!!! I saw it in person... the color looked black, sometimes deep indigo, and sometimes a nice midnight blue depending on the angle and lighting; the chrome accents against the deep blue were stunning, very sophisticated looking.
